Prospect Path is a rapidly growing technology startup in the heart of Newcastle. We focus on building innovative products and platforms for software companies throughout the World.

As a member of our software advisor team, you’ll be talking with technology professionals in the US, Canada and Europe, helping assess their software requirements and advising them about available solutions. You’ll be making calls to warm inbound leads and creating high quality written sales leads.

The OTE for this role is realistic and attainable, and includes a £18-20k basic, depending on experience. All of our existing Software Advisors are comfortably within or above the £35-45,000 range.

An aptitude for building rapport with a prospect  is essential, as is the ability to adapt to different markets and products seamlessly.

The role requires you to be speaking with businesses in the US and Canada, therefore your work hours will typically be 12pm-8pm or 2pm-10pm.


Main Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Outbound telephone calls and emails to senior technology professionals

  • Identifying a prospect’s software needs through in-depth telephone conversations

  • Writing up accurate, clear notes for each conversation

  • Identifying additional prospect information through online research

Desired Skills:

  • Confident and intelligent communicator - conversing with senior business professionals, no problem!

  • Inquisitive, curious and an agile mind - asking plenty of questions to understand business challenges and recommend solutions.

  • Excellent writing skills - converting in-depth telephone conversations into concise, accurately written reports.

  • Persistent and focused - coming to work each day energised and ready to achieve your goals.

Experience with business software is not a requirement, but a background in sales or telemarketing could be a strong advantage.

The role is based in our modern offices in central Newcastle at The Core.
